Scott Vasey

I love movies and I love letting my mind wander. Those compulsions have taken me here, to a community of like-minded dreamers hoping for their visions to be given the green light to entertain the masses (or even a miniscule portion of said masses). Aside from storytelling, I love cooking, college football (Go Yellow Jackets!) and most importantly, my amazing family.

I have a beautiful wife, Meredith, who has been subjected to countless nicknames at the hand of an aspiring writer "trying stuff out". I also have three amazing boys, Whit (10), Graham (8) and Cooper (4) who light up each of my days and have given me unmeasurable happiness and countless moments of inspiration.

Last year I moved to Florida and have been diving into the filmmaking process. Along with another Talentville guy, Jason Gruich, we shot a short film, Home for the Holidays, and have had a fun time making the festival circuit. I also helped out with a 48 Hour Film Project here in Tampa that actually won the city award and Jason and I shot some teaser trailers for a feature length horror project. Here's hoping the dominoes keep falling for us.
