Is your Story Idea Worth Anything?

Summary
The single biggest mistake I have seen writers make - and the ONLY mistake that can never be "fixed" by rewrites is writing the WRONG story, with a central concept that is weak.

This seminar is designed to help you avoid making that mistake.
Presented by

Michael Hurst

Mike Hurst started in England with his brother, making a 20,000 dollar sci fi/horror movie that they sold to the makers of Independence Day for half a million dollars. That brought them out to Hollywood and since then he has been a working writer and director, with 18 movies and 6 TV episodes made (so far) for Netflix, Fox, Sony, Syfy, the CW and HBO, with actors like Cuba Gooding Jr, Val Kilmer, Carrie Ann Moss and Lance Henriksen, amongst many others.

While he never got to make a blockbuster (yet) he worked out the other day that the combined budget of all his credits would be over 40 million dollars!

How to come up with a cool concept, vetting it, comparing it, developing it, testing it - all before you commit to it...

You condensed Syd Field Screenwriting down to 45 minutes and that is very good. If you can do Aristotle Poetics too that would be great. I have an absolutely wonderful movie that is 44 years in the making. I am just now back in new york from the beaufort sea on the arctic ocean near where we fled in 1969. see ArcticTeslaFilm online.
