It’s all about YOU, the Scriptwriter!

Do you want to see your Script on the Big Screen?

Can you make our judges fall off their seats laughing?   You might want to scare the living daylights out of them!   Or have them sitting on the edge of their seats…    Maybe the judges will be fully immersed in your wonderland adventure!

We will be taking the overall winning script to the Big Screen and that is not all, another award winning production company is joining the competition to produce another winning script and we are not stopping there!

The Community of Wimborne, Dorset, UK is fully on board.  We have over 10 Locations supporting the competition and more locations coming soon, please do keep an eye on our Facebook page for more updates @filmexposouth As well as the Wimborne Minster Church Choir joining the competition, the Lord Mayor is happy to make an appearance and not to be outdone, the Town Crier will slip on his outfit and make some noise if the script requires. Here's a taster below of some of our locations... Wimborne Minster Church, Black Pub Books (a magical secondhand bookshop in someone's front room), the Model Town of Wimborne and No.9 on the Green, Bakery and Cafe.

We have over 39 industry judges across various skillsets from Film & TV Lecturers to Executive Producers and every script will receive a minimum of 4 judge's feedback.

The overall theme is Christmas so grab hold of your baubles, you’re in for the ride of your life!

This is a NOT FOR PROFIT Competition and all entry fees go towards the winning scripts. We are also out and about gathering sponsors along the way.

The more we raise, the more scriptwriters we can help produce.

The results from our last Script Competition in 2021/2022 were fabulous! A Scriptwriter was commissioned to write a feature, a Director received funding for her Indie Feature and a Judge, following interviews with various Cast and Crew, picked up a Radio Presenter Job.
