Screenwriting Class
The Story Maps Master Class is a proven, online, 8-week group screenwriting course that guides you from logline to completed draft of your movie or television pilot. This is not just a home course of video lectures. In this class, you will join a group of fellow screenwriters and get to know them, their work and me, your instructor, an industry professional with over 25 years of experience, as I help guide you through weekly lessons and detailed notes on your work. You don't have to finish a full draft, but you will at least finish with a logline, Story Map and full scene outline.
This is the perfect opportunity to bang out your next, BEST screenplay before the holidays come around and things get even busier. Hundreds of writers have loved this course and the consistent care and attention they got from me, their fellow students, and the extra professionals I bring in to give a current, practical, commercial view of their work.
There are no "live" login times, with the exception of the intimate Zoom calls we will have with our two working pro Industry Advisors, Evan Astrowsky and Glenn Sanders. Evan is the producer behind the successful Cabin Fever film franchise, and Glenn is a WGA screenwriter and recent top Exec with Amazon, where he designed marketing campaigns for huge shows like Reacher and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
The class is capped at 8 students max.
In many online screenwriting courses, you’re lucky to get your instructor’s notes on ONE assignment. I give you notes every week on every assignment.
I am a top screenwriting coach and teacher with clients that have created content for major studios, networks and streamers like Netflix, Hulu, Disney, Apple TV+, HBO, Max, Warner Brothers and more. I am also the author of the best-selling books Story Maps: How to Write a GREAT Screenplay and Story Maps: TV Drama: The Structure of the One-Hour Television Pilot. I have easy-to-follow worksheets for features, one hour TV and half-hour TV that we will use in the Master Class.
I really hope you can join us for the ride. It's first come, first served, so I encourage you to enroll NOW and take that first step towards writing that story that only you can write.
Book asap to get the best price. We begin September 17 but you can join the class until the end of the first week and not miss a beat.
