Bill Lae is a satirical comedian at heart. He’s performed stand-up at the Improv in Hollywood and enjoys screenwriting comedies that have a fantastical aspect (aliens, ghosts, wizards). He directed and wrote the critically acclaimed (Daily Variety), award-winning feature film “SuperGuy: Behind the Cape” which went into development as a TV series for Paramount. He also created “The Couch Critics”—a movie-review / sketch-comedy show. Bill did special effects for several TV shows including “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “X-Files.” Currently, he writes, directs and produces marketing shorts for internet vendors. In 2013, his “Cooking with Bugs” went viral and inspired a movement to label food that has ground-up beetles in it to make it red. Really. You’re eating bugs!
