Trained in stage-management at the Central School of Speech and Drama, London. Descendant of British actress Ellen Terry. After working for several years in British theatre, I became a travel writer.
Short-listed for the Shiva Naipaul Memorial Prize, I've written for the Rough Guides travel series, as well as for several international publications.
Compiled and edited The Art of Living: A Practical Guide to Being Alive, which was published simultaneously in English and Spanish, the profits from which, both the publisher, Kairós, and myself, are donating to the NGO founded by Mikhail Gorbachev, Green Cross International.
Recently completed first feature-length screenplay, I DRAW ROSES, about six women from all over the world, whose lives are transformed when a rose is secretly drawn for them.
A French César-winning actor is now attached to the film and the producer and I are now in the initial stages of raising investment. (The film will be shot in English.) Shooting slated for late 2012.
