I retired from the navy in 2001 and have lived in upstate NY since. I have a wife of 27 years, four children and two grandchildren. I started writing a book in 1990 while recovering from surgery. I managed to get three chapters written before stopping to finish my military career. I wrote it on a Commodore 64! Through the years, I rewrote those same chapters a few times, converting them to Word Perfect and finally Word. Two years ago, and a lifetime of change later, I picked the project back up. What I started out to write was a 250 page book that turned into 444 pages. Getting a real rush after getting it published, I found myself in need of a new project. I decided to start another book. This project was different. I first had to design a board game to base the book on. I've played it a number of times with my sons. I won the first game and haven't won, since. When I completed the book, I determined it to be worth a shot at a screenplay. Converting 222 pages down to 112 pages was a real chore, but I captured the essence of the story. The book and Screenplay is called "The Monarch of Pyramid Mountain.
