Currently I am a hotel front desk specialist. I presently live in Florida, am single, and in my free time watch movies, read, visit friends and family, and work on my current passion - writing screenplays.
Last year I had my first novel published, which was a goal and dream of mine since I was a child. Being that I grew up reading mystery novels, as well as adventure, suspense thrillers, I decided to write about the greatest mystery I could think of - humanity.
My book, "The Nostradamus Seed: The Descendant," has received critical acclaim from almost all who have read it. Not just friends and family. So much so that I decided to write my first screenplay based on the novel. It has also received critical acclaim, but only from the few that have taken the time to read it!
The problem is the screenplay and novel are my first, so I am not well known. Being that I am not a celebrity either, it is not well known by the public yet. Even though the book has been out for a year, published by Strategic Book Group, the current state of the publishing industry in which E books are the trend does not speak well for getting it into the hands of the general public.
I feel my screenplay has a much better chance through social networking. Like I am doing here.
My works are based on a controversial subject matter, the Nostradamus legacy. It is a cross-genre thought provoking tale that may make some readers uncomfortable because of its serious, well-researched material. The hero, a modern day descendant of Nostradamus, sets out on a mission to expose two rival powerful secret societies on the verge of starting World War III. During his adventure he displays amazing mental powers, is a master of disguise, and with the aid of spiritual avatars he reveals answers to mysteries that have haunted mankind since its origin.
On March 30-31 I plan on attending a Screenwriter Summit in LA at the LA Airport Marriott Hotel to pitch my screenplay. Wish me luck.
