Justin Murphy started writing short stories and screenplays about The Lost Continent of Atlantis four years before he was first published at with his novella Dothan at age 19, soon followed by the release of Everyone Loves A Scandal at the now defunct Epstein Publishing in 2004 and 2005 respectively. These works would be re-released by Aspen Mountain Press, along with a collection of short stories entitled The Young South between 2006 and 2007. During this time, he also worked on his craft as both a novelist and a screenwriter, hoping to get noticed on the bestseller lists and in film and television. Two crafts he continues to work on to this day in his mid 20's, without a hint of stopping.
After signing with Amazon Kindle, he once again released editions of his previous published work. Along with branching out into sci-fi/fantasy titles such as The Martian Conspiracy, Century of Weird, The House With The Question Mark. He also composed the non fiction release A Fan's Guide To Steven Spielberg. These latter works first appeared on Associated Content, where he wrote numerous articles and short stories, while the fan guide was derived from a column he wrote on Spielberg's career at Examiner.com. Other non-fiction works include Web Series: The Wave of The Future? and Cable Dramas: The Current Wave. He has also written a number of full length novels. One being a first person novel seen through the eyes of an Autistic child. His experiences helping raise younger brother serve as the basis for this novel.
Also, there are quite a few novels he has written in the crime genre, along with returns to short fiction in the form of Incident At Dealey Plaza, a speculative account of the 50th Anniversary of The JFK Assassination. Along with the more sci-fi/fantasy oriented collection The Ancient Astronaut Files, this has become one of his biggest sellers alongside Dothan, Everyone Loves A Scandal, A Fan Guide To Steven Spielberg, and Web Series: The Next Wave? From a young age, he has spent years climbing his way through the publishing industry for very little money, but now enjoys a steady stream of weekly sales on Amazon Kindle after years barely getting noticed. He is the author of The Rainmaker book series.
Justin Murphy now resides in Orlando, Florida with his brother and other family members. A young up and comer ready to take on the world!
