I am a New York City based writer/producer/director who has been doing this for over 10 years. My main craft is writing, it is my passion, it is my life. It seems like I can be a good fit for your project as I am New York City based and in tune with what you are trying to do.
Most recently I completed a comedic short film that I wrote and produced, starring JASON MEWES, called Yitzy. It is the story of a narcissistic Latino actor who, on the day of his big break audition, gets a baby dropped on his doorstep. It had a nice festival run and garnered some awards.

Recently released from prison, aspiring boxer Jack Crespo will stop at nothing to reunite with his daughter and succeed in the ring, even if that means fighting his estranged father in an all out winner takes all bare knuckle boxing match that will determine the future of all the members of the Crespo family.
SYNOPSIS:
All ex-con and Brooklyn native Jack Crespo wants to do when he gets out of jail is keep on the straight and narrow and be a good father to his daughter Casey. But In order to create the family he never had, he must battle Casey's very wealthy and uber-controlling maternal grandparents, as well as convince her flighty mother that he can be the provider she needs. With no prospects other than bagging groceries to make money, he turns to what he does best, boxing. Jack hopes that with his superior skill and the help of his trainer Hector, he can overcome the obstacles of his age and track record, and one day become a legitimate champ. When stakes get high and with no time to lose, Jack begrudgingly falls back on his former trade as an underground bare knuckle boxer. With his hustling half-brother Pete running the show, and his estranged father Freddie back in the game as well, a reluctant Jack is persuaded, by underhanded methods, to step into the ring for an epic grudge match with the father who abandoned him twenty years ago. Jack is thrust into a confrontation of biblical proportions where he must decide what color is more important, the red of blood or the green of money.
