I'm a young, aspiring writer just trying to make his way into the industry.
I am a 2011 graduate from Chapman University where I got my BA in Screenwriting from the Dodge College of Film and Media arts. A great school; it really pushed me to pursue a career in writing.
Since then, I've been juggling looking for work and keeping up a steady writing schedule. My strength is in writing science fiction/ fantasy scripts, although I continue to explore writing in other genres. I can only get better if I continue to write and take a chance at writing something unfamiliar. I also have a little experience being a script doctor. I remain in contact with a few students from Chapman who have contacted me asking for script edits and rewrites.
I take any chance I get at learning something new from every person I meet and I enjoy hearing what people have to say, from small talk to constructive criticisms of my writing.
