My first feature-length screenplay, a comedy called Lunatic Soup, won a place at the 2008 Berlinale Talent Campus for new filmmakers, held at the Berlin Film Festival. I now write for the RTE TV drama, Fair City.
Before becoming a writer, I worked in the film industry as Assistant Director and Production Assistant, I became a reporter for the Irish Film & TV Network. I then went on to write for magazines and newspapers around the world.
I’ve also enjoyed a career as an advertising copywriter. My clients included Guinness, British Airways, Microsoft and Aer Lingus, writing everything from radio commercials to web films.
