Lawrence is an award-winning writer, repped by Innovative Artists. He has had five screenplays optioned and been hired for many independent writing and rewriting projects.
Originally from Washington DC and NYC, he received a BA in Theater Arts from Brown University and an MFA in writing from UCLA School of Theater, Film, and TV - Summa Cum Laude.
Currently, he has one film project - the Samuel Goldwyn Award-winning "Intensive Care" (also a finalist for the Sundance Writing Lab and the Sundance Producers Lab) - that is far along in the development process (he's the writer and one of two lead producers). He also has a film project called "The Last Bombshell" that was recently optioned.
Lawrence has done coverage for Talentville for the past 10 years and has worked for over 15 years at UTA as a script analyst. He is also employed now in a similar capacity for the new coverage firm ScriptHop AKA The Gauntlet.
