I've been writing since I was 11! Yikes! Started with poetry, moved into fiction, got my MFA, wrote humor "CyberYenta's Old-Fashioned Wisdom for Newfangled Times" (www.CyberYenta.com), screenplays and stage plays as well as non-fiction, even tech writing. Was a lit agent for awhile. Now I am focusing on screenplays as I love the economy of words and the collaborative nature of the genre. Belong to (& have always belonged to) several workshops in NYC as a way to motivate, improve, and play with other creative types.
My novel "Brooklyn Valentine" won the 2011 IPPY (Independent Book Publishers) award for popular fiction. Now I need to do the screenplay!

My play, "HARVEST," will soon have a reading in NYC. Will post the date and extend an invite to any folks here who live in the area.
