I began making animated films as a teen. I remember spending weekends building sets from scratch, writing a shooting script and using my adored 8 mm camera to shoot 2 frames per second. That lead to acting, in a broad sense, to push the movement of story & character. I worked and watched my favorite directors, Sidney Lumet AND Pollack, bring pages and words to LIFE & VISION on their productions. Now, I feel more empowered to bring a new perspective in my writing. I want to do more to dare the audience to not only think outside the box, but destroy that box and explore their freedom.
