I have been writing many years and decided to try my hand at screenwriting. I completed the certificate program in feature film and television writing at UCLA and plan to apply to the master class program next year. I was excited to learn that my short, Ashes to Anthrax was selected as a semi-finalist in the 2009 Expo screenwriting contest. I received a Writer's Boot Camp Fellowship, which I look forward to as well. I am a screener for the Nashville Film Festival, an Academy Award Qualifier fesitval which gives me a unique opportunity to view many films at various stages of completion. My goal is to continue to work hard to improve my craft, no matter what level of success I acheive.
