A Screenwriter & Producer. I have written 4 features, 6 short films, a TV pilot/series, and 2 stage plays.
In 2010, my feature-length period thriller ONCE MORE EDEN received recognition as a Top-25 Finalist in the Creative World Awards, a Finalist in the Great American Screenplay Competition, a Top 12 Finalist in Final Draft's Big Break Competition, and won Best Unproduced Screenplay at the 2010 Prince Edward Island International Film Festival.
My Musical comedy THE KARAOKE KID has attracted interest from Haylie Duff [Napoleon Dynamite], and Grammy-nominated singer Chynna Phillips [Wilson Phillips] and is currently circulating production companies.
I am writing & producing a made-for-internet short film for Haylie & Hilary Duff (preproduction to begin September 2011) and developing a romantic comedy with filmmaker Bart Freundlich [writer/director, Trust the Man].
Additionally I am co-producer of Christopher Theokas's THE NIGHT NURSE, starring Beverly Mitchell [7th Heaven, the Saw series].
In June 2011, two of my plays were selected and staged at two festivals in both Canada and the US: my comedy QUEENS, 1986 had a limited run in New York City, at the off-Broadway Player's Theatre, and my comedy DANIEL JOHNSON was staged at New Brunswick's Capitol Theatre.
Over the last decade I have worked directly with A-list actors, directors and producers, and I currently work as a personal assistant to a 4-time Oscar nominated actress and her writer/director husband.
