I've been a serious screenwriter for eight years. I've completed eight screenplays and have others in the early phases of writing. My primary genre is horror. My first completed screenplay, The Risen, a zombie flick, finished in the quarter-finals of the two competitions listed below. That small accomplishment gave me the writing bug for good.
I'm a lover of movies and have no formal writing or film education - just watching movies and studying screenplays that I think are good. I'm a graduate of the University of Oregon with a BS in Environmental Studies and Geography with an emphasis in GIS and Cartography.
