I've been a professional TV scriptwriter of over twenty years. Original TV movies are 'Leaving' BBC, 'Meat', BBC, 'A View Of Harry Clark" BBC and 'Bait', ITV. I wrote five episodes of 'Inspector Morse', ITV two episodes of 'Rebus'. ITV, one episode of 'Lewis' ITV, and one episode of 'Murder Rooms' BBC. I also devised and wrote twelve episodes of 'Hamish Macbeth' BBC.
I have written three screenplays: ' Dancing At The Shore' a spec comedy screenplay set in a mid 1960's dancehall in Scotland; 'That Night In Dustville' a spec comedy screenplay set mainly in the Australian outback; 'The Sacred Oath Of Oweny Tiernan.' an adaptation of a Patrick McCabe short story for Makaar Productions, Scotland.
I have written two novels. 'Illusion' is a psycho-sexual thriller featuring Glasgow Private Investigator John Paris. 'Mary Dogood' is a black comedy that I am currently adapting for Rooster Film And TV Ltd. (UK)
