That's Stoltzfus. Pronounced like Stoltz-foos.
I was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It's famous for all the Amish that live there. In fact, they actually shot Witness a mile from my house. I was raised on a dairy farm until the age of seven. (no, I'm not Amish)
I attended college at the Art Institute of Philadelphia for film/video production.
After college I worked in live television news for seven years. During this time I also wrote several screenplays and directed two of them. My second directing effort, Victim's Song, received a number of awards and praise. I've worked for such companies as Comcast, NBC/Universal, Dakota Films, Frameforge, and Final Draft. I've taught classes on screenwriting and storyboarding.
I currently live in Los Angeles where I continue to write screenplays. My brand seems to be a combination of dark, weird, and funny. Genres most explored are: Comedy, Thriller, and Action.
