
Shelly has over 20 years of experience in film and TV. Her career started as an agent, owning, The Casting Company for 8 years, located on the Gold Coast. Australia. She secured roles in feature films and TV commercials for her clients both locally and internationally. Shelly also set up a stunt actors academy, taught by Phil Brock, a leading stunt Co-Ordinator in films such Bloodmoon and Bootleg. He also performed stunts in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.
Shelly quickly made her way behind the camera, writing, producing, and directing short films and music videos. She has also won two awards for her short film, Rose Color Glasses.
Shelly has written several feature film screenplays ranging from an action comedy, romantic comedy, an action drama and two family Christmas comedy.
Between 2021 and 2023, three of her screenplays were shortlisted in international competitions such as Los Angeles International Screenplays, Outstanding Screenplays, UK, The Script Lab, LA, and Coverfly, LA. Recently Shelly has been script consulting on various screenplays in Australia and the UK.
Her interests lie in developing and producing films that will resonate with an international audience. She has a passion for helping people take their screenplays from script to screen.
