Two teens are shown the abandoned synagogue they've inherited by a very unusual guide.

Should they sell it or keep it? They don't really care. Before the tour can begin, the angel Sandalfon appears and is able to remove the adults from the picture. Sandalfon is trapped in the building until he can deliver 10 prayers to the Heavenly Throne. But he can time travel and so he takes Marcy and Josh on a time traveling tour. They witness how their great grandparents made the decision to come to America. They see how their grandparents struggled with change. They even see younger versions of themselves. In each scene, their ancestors utter prayers. By the end of the tour, Marcy and Josh have a much keener appreciation for the past and and Sandalfon has collected ten prayers. Sandalfon leaves Marcy and Josh in the building and the adults reappear. Marcy and Josh embrace the building as theirs and devise a workable way to restore it.
