Semi-literate MORRISON FALCONE works as a bouncer in a local nightspot while
struggling to learn how to read, and dreaming of someday owning a club of
his own. In stark contrast to his occupation, he is a very humble and
caring sort. But while he's a nobody on the outside, once inside the club
he becomes Wyatt Earp, patrolling the streets of Dodge. Enter LISA, the
wealthy, thrill seeking socialite, who seduces him away from the club and
begins a steamy affair, while showing off her prize by parading him through
her elitist social circles; where he feels somewhat akin to a sideshow act
in the circus.
Realizing the mistake he's made, he ends his fling and returns to his job
where he finds the club has been targeted to be taken over by a mob owned
place seeking to expand. The heat is too much for Morrison's boss IZZY, who
has been a father figure to him, and now is about to fold. But Morrison
comes to the rescue. A "winner take all" fight is set up against a larger
bouncer, PAULEY, from the rival mob owned bar, with the ownership of both
places at stake. There has long been bad blood between Morrison and Pauley,
a very nasty person, which only serves to intensify the brutal event. In
the end, and against all odds, Morrison's strong heart and will to win
triumph over the bigger man, save the day for Izzy and fulfill the seemingly
impossible dream of owning a club of his own.
