The Amityville Village is written in the same vein as "Go," "Fear Street," and "The Village." My overall goal is to turn this into a franchise like the "Fear Street" series. Below is a short synopsis about the script and the act structure that follows.
Due to the second wave of the coronavirus another lockdown has occurred. Luckily with the winding down cases, restrictions are being uplifted and businesses and schools are reopening. However, before that the demonic entities of the Amityville House have been unleashed and seek havoc upon the current residents of the house. This time the entities escape the confinement of the house and prey upon the local residents of Amityville Village. The 4 teenagers who set them free band together to stop the entities and send them back to where they came before the entities consume all the residents' souls.
Jessica Drake and her family reside in the Amityville House. They are in lockdown and are getting on each other’s nerves. It doesn’t help that Orlando, Jessica’s father, is at odds with his family due to a choice he had to make to keep his family above water and Alexis, Jessica’s mom, is having a hard time getting through unemployment. Adam, Jessica’s brother, is writing a paper on pandemics when a sewage pipe explodes in their backyard. It’s at that moment where they discover the Amityville Box. The entities are contained in this box and are unleashed due to Jessica’s friends and family’s sins. One by one the entities take over the family and make them do horrendous acts on one another. Jessica gets stabbed and leaves the house looking for help, only to realize that one of the entities escaped the house and has possessed the residents in the Amityville Village.
Jessica’s friends, Brian, Rachel, and Donald, also had their own experiences with the entities, helping to unleash them. Brian is attacked by his mother and Rachel and Donald are being taunted by one of the entities while they try to figure out how to stop them. After finding out how to send the entities back into the box Rachel and Donald are attacked by Alexis and the residents. The friends and family band together to stop the carnage and send the entities back into the box, where they belong.
The film is written in a “Go” like format where there is a rewind point for some of the characters. The script is broken down into four parts - The Amityville Lockdown, The Amityville Game, The Amityville Party, and The Amityville Village. The script also features strong sexual content, alcohol and drug usage involving teens, strong language, violence, and some gore.
