Care-free Tiffany, and naive Maria, BFF out for a good night of clubbing, meet up with two deviant ex-cons, the handsome Nick Ruebens, and the loner Tommy Hyde. But Tiffany gets more than she bargained for when Ruebens offers her a heightened sexual experience – something she wouldn't wish on her worst enemy. A few nights later when Tiffany goes off with a young stud, Maria doesn't hesitate when Ruebens and Hyde pick her up at a taxi stand. But the so-called 'heightened experience' goes awry, and Maria ends up in a recently dug grave in the cemetery where the two men work as grave diggers.
Tiffany tries unsuccessfully to phone her. Traveling in their car, Ruebens and Hyde hear Maria’s phone ring. They locate it in her clutch bag beneath the seat and toss it in the street. When the phone is found and taken to the local Police Station, it is deposited in a crate along with other lost property.
With growing concern, Tiffany finally reports Maria's absence to the same Police Station. Pushing her point, she rings Maria's phone; and when the phone in the lost property crate is heard ringing, Tiffany's concern is taken seriously. Two Detectives, about to finish their shift, Rochelle Jelnick (late-20s) and Harley Czjenowsky (30) are called to attend. Jelnick, attracted to Tiffany, offers to personally investigate. When Hyde's fingerprints are found on Maria's phone, Jelnick unofficially sets up a sting with Ruebens and Hyde, keeping Tiffany in the loop via her phone. But the sting backfires, and Ruebens incapacitates Jelnick, shoves her in the trunk of the car and sets off to dispose of her body in another recently dug grave.
With newfound resolve, Tiffany arranges a rendezvous with the two ex-cons but first contacts the police again who, after realizing one of their own is in peril, set about tracking the villains. During a showdown in the cemetery grounds, Ruebens and Hyde meet their demise, with Jelnick, beaten and gagged but still alive, located in the trunk of their car. Not so, Maria. It's only when Tiffany recalls a cryptic comment from the dying Hyde about unearthing the truth about mental illness, that they set about locating Maria's body in one of the recent burial sites and discover that there were others who also endured the 'heightened experience'.
