While living in a renovated garage at her mother's home, she makes the decision to take the plunge and move away and make a new start in her life. Her decision, made without her mother's knowledge, comes as a shock when she reveals it to her. Her aspirations seem to be becoming true when she meets several men that she's attracted to, one more than the other. When an old flame of her new interest comes back into the picture, there's tension, but he assures her he ended the relationship with the "old flame" over a year ago. A journey form childhood to grown-up and dependent solely on herself is what we see as we follow a year or so in her life.
