Premise: Belfast 1979: In the back alleyways of West Belfast, the Special Forces of the British Army and the Fighting Units of the Provisional Irish Republican Army (PIRA) tunnel into the fabric of society. In an area no more than five miles square, both sides have on-going operations. Flynn, a young priest, walks with his father into a gun battle. His father is killed. Flynn blames the Brits. His desire for revenge explodes.

Act 1: Flynn, a priest, walks with his father into an ambush. His father is killed. Flynn blames the Brits. In particular Scott who leads a Special Forces Detachment. The police are unhelpful and hostile. Flynn anger is coming to the boil in the boxing ring he hammer a larger boxer. The trainer intervenes. In the Crown bar Flynn spots Scott leaving. Out of control he gives chase. Scott hammers him. Flynn throws his rosary into the drain. Flynn turns away from the church and to his uncle Seamus (Head of PIRA) for help, unaware that Seamus killed his father.
Act 2: Flynn finds comfort with Caroline a girl friend from school. Unknown to Flynn his sister Sinead’s new boyfriend is Scott; the Special Forces soldier he believes killed his father. Sinead works as a trained agent for the Southern Irish Special Forces. Together Scott and Sinead hunt Seamus.
Sinead and Scott follow Seamus and Flynn as they drive in a van along the Falls Road. They carry a sniper’s rifle which Sinead has bugged. The signal from the rifle stops. They lose them. Seamus with a nervous Flynn fails to kill a prison officer. Flynn is now corrupted.
Flynn trained by Seamus excels at weapon handling. Later Seamus tells him they have found Scott. He looks down at Scott’s with his pistol pointed at his head. He can’t pull the trigger. Sinead screams in horror. Flynn flees the scene in Seamus’ car. Later Flynn and Caroline make love. They dream of a life away from Belfast.
Act Three: Flynn is charged by PIRA with cowardice in the presence of the enemy. Before he is sentenced, the Brits arrive. There no sign of Flynn he lies unconscious in Rocky’s cellar. Flynn frees him self from his captive and is now armed. Seamus arrive confesses that he killed Flynn father and flees. Flynn empties his pistol wounding Seamus.
Under the eyes of the British Army Seamus uses Caroline as a hostage. He forces Flynn to drive him to the border. Flynn has a hidden pistol. There stop by a planed Special Forces ambush. He can not kill. Sinead can she shoots Seamus. He’s dead.
