Christmas Week

THOMAS, had a wonderful NY family upbringing and couldn't wait to grow up and be accepted/respected by the Uncles, his role models. But he has an itch, he wants to spread his wings and show he can make his own way without family help. He ends up as a lawyer in a small coastal town on Virginia's eastern shore. A duck out of water. A decision he now regrets.

At an ATM late night, THOMAS turns the table on a back robber and leaves him for the police taped to the bank pole with the bank alarm on.

The next day, Christmas Eve, his elderly UNCLE CARLO visits him with a problem. He is being framed for embezzlement. He doesn't trust anyone back home and ask THOMAS to 'fix it'. THOMAS has until after New Year's Day to solve this potential crime or the people CARLO works for may kill him. Thomas vows to 'fix it'.

As CARLO drives away, FBI AGENTS RAWLS and SMITS smile smugly from inside a nearby van. 'Fix it' is code for a hit. They peg Thomas as the consigulari of a NY family and breaking up this family will get them into the good graces of their boss. They tail Thomas.

THOMAS visits CARMINE, a local guinea fisherman for advice. "Find the uncle that's the biggest loser, he'll help you first." CARMINE becomes a source of help and protection throughout the journey.

The local POLICE investigate the bank robbery but things have changed. In no time, one of the robbers have died and the survivor LONNY, claims he was beaten up and wants to file murder charges against the unknown perp. The Police are assisting him now.

Thomas is stunned. This Christmas Week is awful. How is he going to fix this?

He travels to NY the day after Christmas and meets Uncle BOBBY. Bobby, has lost 250 lbs and is no longer a loser. They go on a fact finding mission only to be ambushed by occupants in two black sedans. The chase ends near the docks with one sedan upside down and the other in the water. Close call. Time to meet the other Uncles to figure this out.

The Uncles are an electic mix of Italian humor, wise guy slogans and love of family. CARLO has to be saved. They move around NY in search of clues and to narrow down suspects.

Thomas drives between NY and his home. The Police have narrowed Thomas down as the primary suspect. As an Officer of the Court, he is let go until the coming trial after New Years Day. He has to prove his innocence.

Back in NY, the search has narrowed down to THE GREEK, a huge Uncle, that never liked the Italian side of the family. Back in VA, LONNY is on the prowl to avenge his brothers death and has narrowed his search to Thomas and his family. He begins an anonymous campaigne of harrassment while Thomas is away.

Back in NY, the truth comes out and a plan is devised by Thomas and all the Uncles to trap the real embezzler. They get a mobsters permission. Back in VA, Lonny is captured by Carmine and thrown in jail. But his ace is he knows who killed his brother and Thomas still hasn't any proof that Lonny and his brother were the real perps.

In VA, the Uncles, the FBI and all spring a trap and capture the real culprit. A car mechanic finds a spent bullet from Lonny's gun in Thomas's car. It proves his innocence.

A big New Year's Eve party ends with Carlo and Thomas off the hook and the end of a happy Christmas Week.
