Aging Vietnam and Korean Vets are taken hostage at their annual convention by terrorists intending to make a worldwide spectacle of them as cowards and losers. A spectacle develops but not as planned.

The plan is to put them on worldwide TV fighting each other to the death with knives to the delight of American haters around the world. Age and infirmity of the Vets is not a consideration. The "winners" will get to live. The terrorists want to make a show of the seeming cowardice of the former soldiers.
In the group is the First Lady and the very popular opponent of the President in the upcoming election. The president wants both dead for his selfish reasons. The Vets, still angry about the lack of respect shown to them upon their return from war, have no interest in rolling over. They devise an alternative to the massacre. Some terrorists become drunk drinking "OJ" from the bar, while others are overrun by the Vets. The lead terrorist escapes in a planned helicopter pickup but takes the President First lady and the President's opponent with him. A fight ensues and the Good Guy wins.
