When a detective saves an amnesiac woman from a burning car and an assassin's bullet, he vows to protect her from the determined killer who always seems to be one step ahead. As they navigate a dangerous game of cat and mouse, he must resist his desire for the woman who trusts him with her life, even as they uncover a leak within his Department.

— After pulling a woman from a fiery car crash, Milwaukee detective NATE STONE takes on her protection duty. With no memories, he provides her the temporary name of Rose from a photo of roses in her hospital room.
— He secures her in a safe house, but when it's compromised, they flee to his stepfather’s secluded farmhouse, only used during family events. A therapist helps Rose slowly regain memories, revealing she is CASSANDRA TOWNSEND, a wealthy heiress whose parents were murdered by her uncle to gain her inheritance.
— After being kidnapped and drugged by her uncle MITCH, Rose bravely escapes. Later, her uncle is killed during a standoff with police. It’s then revealed he had slowly drained most of her wealth over the years.
— In the end, Rose finds solace with Nate, choosing to sell her family mansion but keep her remaining millions. After surviving the harrowing attempts on her life, she emerges stronger with Nate's unwavering support.
