Tracking an international smuggler suspected of selling stolen data reveals to Detective David Westfield tickets to the “The Roman Festival” on Catalina Island where on one day, February 29th, LEAP YEAR - there are no-laws except those set by Caesar and his overpaid Hollywood actors.
Unable to gain access, David presents his two very married friends ( ROBERT (late 40's) and MICHAEL ( 40s) these tickets in hopes their attendance in the recuperating smuggler’s place will draw out the criminals and reveal the stolen data hidden on the Radom Access Binary BIT (R.A.B.BiT ) memory chip.
Unfortunately, he does not share this information with the two friends, who are just looking forward to a fun weekend without the wives. They need a plan.
They convince David to pretend he is getting married and the weekend ‘trip’ is his bachelor party. But, the wives want to meet him and his nonexistent fiancee’ first.
David ultimately pulls it off by calling an old flame to fill in.
Once on the Catalina Island all contact with the outside world has been turned off - David keeps watch as buyers from different countries pay exorbitant amounts of money for boxes of plastic electronic bobbleheads. But without knowing what secrets they contain, David can't make an arrest. The key to the whole case lies behind the guarded gates of "The Roman Festival".
Dressed as Romans, our married friends play along and enter an unreal world of chariots, gladiators, and orgies, controlled by Empress E'la who uses the festival to disguise the illegal activities to distribute the stolen information.
They guys are having a great, if bizarre experience until their wives appear unexpectedly dressed as Roman slave girls.
